If only there was a way to instantly add virtual land. You know as wards fill up it can instantly add a new one?
There is zero excuses why they need to limit housing. I see some FCs that own nearly half a ward. Personally I would give a 3 month notice that anyone that owns more than 1 plot will have to pay a 25% of the plots value in a tax for each plot over 1 each month. People that own 12 plots will have to pay this tax on 11 of them.
I'm on Balmung myself and I am tired of hearing these same complaints over and over from people on my server (whether they are a fresh transfer, alts, etc). If there was a dislike button, I'd hit it every time for these types of threads. Please, do some research and realize we are still the largest population-wise so if you're in it for a house, you're not gonna have much luck this late into the game... unless SE does another batch of wards so you can have a chance at it.
I am also in agreement with others from different servers that SE should not add more wards for our server simply because we are larger.
Yes they are but if you dont have them its hard to see and i understand that. I should make new topic just to explain how this works, what is the real advantage to have more retainers and all this by not even mentioning the increased space for <stuff>.
I have 8, 5 of which I send out on ventures, two sometimes three I sell items on. But if I only had two, nothing on this game would fundamentally change for me. All it would force me to do was get rid of all this crap I have on them, and only keep the things I really need. I would just have to go out and gather the mats I need when I want to craft as opposed to having them already. But since I would be spending less time doing hunts, beastman quests, and other things to keep up with the venture token demand, I would have more time to do this anyway. Also, as a crafter, even if they couldn't go out on ventures it wouldn't bother me. They bring back crap most of the time anyway. The occasional piece of furniture, or pot of white of black dye is pittance compared to what I make crafting and selling items.
Extra retainers, if you craft and sell alot, is one of the best ways to make a TON of Gil. I have 8 retainers on my main that are always fully stocked, with lowest prices on MB. I also have several alts with some retainers for a total of 36 retainers, each with fully stocked retainers. It's good for an easy 3-8m Gil a day in pure profit, just from selling stuff, no ventures.
I think it was slightly better?
But not saying much as the system is still rather bad.
I did finally get a house but know full well how many players had been trying as long as me and are still houseless.
Instanced, non-instanced mix. Repeating myself again
Also it is not about entitlement, why introduce something were only a certain amount of players can get?
SE themselves have talked numerous times about different features in the game and how they want it fair for everyone, i guess housing was not part of that talk...

So as predicted.. multiple times, buy -alot- of people on every single server. SE, you changing the systems did not work -again-. Like how many more times are we going to have to tell you, You need to add personal player housing. Because just look, within the first day of the lifting of personal housing limitations. All wards were full again and we're up to 18 wards, Don't you understand this is gonna have to end eventually?
Here's an idea: #DeleteBalmung
Your blitzkrieg relocation would likely balance everything out.
If you say so.
Agree with everything. Not to mention expensive items what sells in small batches, e.g. 1 to 10 items per stack. Of course you can sell bigger quantities but who will buy it if to build the item you need just few of them and they are expensive. And this is not all, there are tons of reasons why retainers are pay-to-win what should be unacceptable for the game with monthly subscription. So i think players should make pressure on SE about this subject and their greedy practice. One thing is cosmetics for RL money but if you gain advantage over other players buy paying something with RL money then its called pay-to-win.
can you guys keep on topic?
