Status on locked servers i.e Gilgamesh, transferable? Help.

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows if there's a specific place that shows which servers are able to be transferred to?

I understand you cannot make a new character on Gilgamesh at the moment, but can it be transferred to from another server? I've been thinking of going to Gilgamesh, just curious if its open to transferring?

The restrictions are only on new character creations, you should be able to transfer just fine.

There are currently no servers flagged as congested. There're temporary restrictions on character creation per specific server congestion, but not only are those temporary as well (just make sure to create your alt at yey o'clock in the morning...) but they have no bearing on transfers, as stated above.

If I remember it right, you wouldn't see the server in the dropdown list of destination servers to transfer on the Mog station, if it's not possible to transfer there.
At least it's how it was for me during previous year when I checked transfers to Balmung and Tonberry. They were not in the list of destination servers.

For the future, you can always check these sorts of posts, which can be found on the front page of the Lodestone. So long as a world is not listed as “Congested”, it is open for transfers. Any worlds marked with “x” are closed to character creation for the moment, and those marked with “o” have no character creation restrictions on them (i.e., you can make new characters). Transfers ignore the “x” and “o” restrictions.

The Status page is updated every 6 hours or so.
