I honestly hope they add more plots. I'm beginning to hate camp for 10-12 hours—or more—only to lose it to someone moving in. I hate the fact that bypasses those of trying to honestly purchase a house. I don't fancy sitting for hours on end just to get a house. I've got stuff to do in real life, SE.

Yup, I'm sitting here on my 3rd camp now since I decided I had the GIL to go for a house, been here since 0300, it's now 1035 and the house has been "available*" since midnight since it was on a 12 hour devaluation. Though I heard they go up at 1800 not 2400 so if that is true... I only have to wait till 1600. We'll see

just as crazy as you learning how "Adding more plots" isn't as simple as a flick of the switch. Nor would adding more plots fix the issue.

Several hours later and I still can't buy it, this is ridiculous at this point. There is multiple empty plots open now and literally all of them are 'This plot of land is not yet ready for purchase'. I'm getting really really frustrated.

I doubt SE would do that for FC's since players are already trying to bypass the timers by putting dummy FCs to transfer housing ownership that way.

Make FC, buy house, go to reddit to sell house, buyer joins FC and buys house, seller leaves FC, house now belongs to buyer in a solo player FC.

It's roundabout as hell, but it was happening.

Requires 4 people and rank 6 to purchase a plot now, 1 person FC purchases aren't possible, so technically you would have to have 3 people doing this and getting said FC to rank 6, so while not impossible to do as you say it would be a lot more time consuming and take a hell of a lot more time.

Game doesn't check for "people," only "members." Get someone to help get alt characters into your FC, and you've effectively got a 1 person FC. It's no harder now than it ever was to achieve FC housing.

Once an FC house is bought you only need one FC member to keep it and that member can be any level. One thing that appears to be happening is the flippers buy an FC house using a main and alts. They then invite the player purchasing he house to the FC and then drop out. If nobody buys the FC right away they are also known to transfer it to a lvl 1 character who would do the invite and transfer later when it sells.

The only way to stop flipping is to create an unlimited supply of houses. This would undercut the demand that flippers exploit.

This FC trick is probably only work once and that is it. It will not be able to continuously flipping as the new owner is unlikely to go through same painful process.
Also, this is likely only to be an issue for server like Balmung (Levithan is pretty big too but i dont see any fake FC owned houses) and because people want hoarding there.
