There is a cottage in Dimwold/Fringes, if I'm not mistaken, where you can find a Manor Oven without the ugly shelves and in the proper height to a lalafell.
They are toying with the idea... jut gotta start giving us some of it!

I never have but if I try, I'd most likely use hingan sideboards or stages as elevated platforms and sink tables in them, and use lalafellin steps as stairs to the newly elevated "floor". Part of the lalafell cuteness is 'cause they're smaller than everything else. So to shrink everything down to their size takes away from their being cute. It just does.
They could and have, true. And yet they still left a couple of housing glitches/workarounds in, hopefully for good. Like I don't understand why you can only put windows on walls and not partitions, you have to use an exploit for that.
Also the room where everything's shrunk to size would be very unlike the FFXIV environment outside of it. Momodi's not behind a shorter counter. She's standing on something. The only time anything was ever shrunk for a lala was [SPOILER] in SB. Lalas live in the same world as everyone else. They don't have a "shire". So, yeah, it'd be nice to make stuff for little people anywhere, but I just don't see it in this game.

The problem is you are missing the point of this. There is a lot of items in which things are either too small or too big. This kind of problem doesn't exist only for Lalafells but rather ever race has some sort of issue in terms size cause every race varies in height.
If there is cottages then I am sure there will be some sort of system implemented for Lalafells anyways. There is already sightings of Lala sized items.
The only reason why I requested this is because even as a different race, there is still a lot of issues for furniture.
I'm more miffed as to why we sit on the bloodly edge of the seat, regardless of race, for every "sit" emote usable object... I mean come on have u tried that in RL (butt in the literal edge of the seat yet sitting like ur fully on it) I did once, it looks like ur just "hyper rdy to not be sitting". Size of the stuff is something I can manage with using a "shortest-setting" fem Highlander but the "sit" emote for chairs & stuff like them bugs the crap outa me I just want my avi to actually look relaxed in that chair.
What some see as "distracted" is really "fathoming the unfathomable" - last words from an Ul'dahn Mercurial Chemister at the battle of Carteneau
Those are options but why should lalafell players have to use extra furnishing slots just to get something to look normal for them? It isn't exactly fair when the taller races can make a room look practical with less time, money and furnishing slots. Also the stage is taller than most if not all tables.I never have but if I try, I'd most likely use hingan sideboards or stages as elevated platforms and sink tables in them, and use lalafellin steps as stairs to the newly elevated "floor". And the furnishing intended for that, the lalafellin stool, is not tall enough to sensibly reach everything. Furthermore you cannot place any npcs on it. You can't place any npcs on any platform furnishing be it a chair, stage, etc. If you have lalafell npcs you either have a tiny choice of furnishings to use as counters/tables or have them looking like children hiding behind one.
Being able to flip/mirror a piece of furniture would also be a nice feature.

That sound's like a great idea too! ^^ Then we can have an additional button for flipping/mirror next to the move and rotate buttons as well.
I am surprised we didn't actually have this feature beforehand and it didn't come to my mind until I just read this post.

I am all for the flipping/mirror and resizing option. My toon is the tallest I can make a miqo'te and a lot of items are still way too big. I JUST fit properly on oasis chairs (and even then they're a bit big), and the Hingan chairs are about big enough to count as a loveseat instead. As it is, I can curl up on one comfortably when I play dead. And for flipping... that's self explanatory lol. It's happened more than once I wanted to replicate something on another side, but couldn't because of decoration or similar issue.
I actually do tend to sit like that in real life. I think because I'm short - sitting on the edge of the seat means I can put my feet flat on the floor more easily than sitting 'properly' in some chairs. (Right now at my computer, the chair height that is comfortable to type at is also just high enough that my heels are off the floor, so I'm sitting forwards.)I'm more miffed as to why we sit on the bloodly edge of the seat, regardless of race, for every "sit" emote usable object... I did find it funny that one of the sitting pose options for my character basically my own (bad) sitting posture - perched on the edge of the seat and hunched forward.
For looking comfortable in the big armchairs in-game, I actually ended up standing on it and then using the /groundsit option and a 'legs curled up' pose.
I don't know about letting players customize things down to the inch. But for some things like beds, chairs, desks, for example, I think they should let you pick a race when placing it and have the size be proportionate to your PC. Lalafells would need like 1000 items to fill up a mansion though lol.
