    Error Code: i2501

    Hello!

    I am trying to enact World Transfer service right now. I do not have Credit Card, nor the ability to buy Crysta at any means, so I'm asking my friend in USA with USA credit card to help. I live in Indonesia, but I have EU account because I am going to stay in Germany for months.

    When my friend enters his credit card information, and clicked continue, he got error. He thought it's because of region differences, so I asked my friend in EU with EU credit card to help me. She got Error Code: i2501 as well before even entering her credit card information.

    Some troubleshooting I've read involves region differences, flagged as suspicious, or internet connection problem. I have submitted my support ticket, but I need a fast response because my problem is rather urgent.

    Any inputs will be appreciated!

    Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    An i2501 is a general error on the Mogstation, as such it can be difficult to diagnose. It can be caused by an abnormal connection, a public network (Internet cafe, University connection), the use of a VPN or simply too many rapid attempts. The system will try to filter out anything it finds to be "strange."

    Please wait for a response from the Support Center.
