(Request) About Mog Station Clothing Items.

I've bought a few Mog Station items over the past few months that came from events that I missed while I was away from the game for a couple years. I'm curious to know if there is any way to re-obtain these clothing items you have purchased if you by accident discard or destroy them in some way?

I haven't discarded anything myself, I'm just curious because many of my old event clothing items are able to be re-purchased from the Recompense Officer or Calamity Salvager. However, the event items that I purchase via the Mog Station do not show up in either of these NPC lists.

The new Glamour Dresser system also has got me a little excited to be able to glamour 1 set of gear multiple times. For example, I currently use the system so that my Lv70 RDM AF can be applied along with the glamour items that I use for BLM. However, I only did this because I knew that the items I was destroying were able to be re-obtained somewhere in-game.

Unless I've missed something, please inform me If I have; My question(s):

Why do we not have a back-up NPC that will resell us our Mog Station purchases for Gil?

Or perhaps, a feature of the Mog Station that we can get our already purchased items delivered to the same character again?

These questions are borne of the slight disappointment of the new Glamour Dresser not allowing Mog Station items to be destroyed and that the Armoire erases the dye you would like to use if that was your other option to attempt to use them with the Glamour Dresser.

So I guess I'm requesting that those two questions I have put forth above become a reality in some form.

the devs have answered this question somewhat - the reason you cant rebuy mogstation items from the calamity salvager is because that npc's items are tied to acheivements. since buying from the mogstation is not an acheivement and has nothing attached to it that makes it difficult. basically you just have to be more careful with your purchases.

I knew it was something like that. However, I do believe there's no reason we can't have a single NPC dedicated to Mog Station purchases. QoL and all that~

I kinda expect it to be difficult to have an NPC track down Mog Station purchases.
That being said: I would also expect the Mog Station to keep some sort of record about what you bought. So maybe a feature there that lets you re-order anything (free of charge, obviously) thats not getting used up (so stuff like dyes, wedding bracelets etc.) there could work better?

I was about to suggest something like this. This issue is more likely something to do with both the consumables and acccount wide verses not items making it tricky.

Personally, I would want all Mogstation items become armoir friendly already.

I wonder if they could create an achievement that gives zero points just to get around this issue. Perhaps you have to model the outfits like you do for the Harlequin set?

Another good way to solve part of the problem~ I'm sure they could do many things to be honest. I just want them to do it, lol.

It's never that simple with SE is it?

When you buy an costume on SWTOR, just for the character you bought it alone, you can retrieve it from a collection tab as many times as you want to. As an added bonus, you can pay an extra fee so that it can be retrieved by any other subsequent alt.

How can a game company get things like this so, so, SO wrong? Baffling.

Personally, I would want all Mogstation items become armoir friendly already.

They could easily just make it for clothing only and check to see if you have said item in your inventory/chest/armoire

I assume the Calamity Salvager system being acheivement based is more from it's initial purpose to help the Legacy/1.x players get items back after their toon was transferred to 2.0.

The cash shop part of the MogStation came a good bit later and was just the raw items.
