As much as I loved making these music videos, the updates brought on by 4.2 are problematic.

The biggest issues are:
Animation - it was much nicer when a note effect appeared for each note played, not just every X frames of playing
Sound - it was way better to have a recording of each note, rather than just a couple of notes pitch-shifted to fill the scale. The video linked includes a comparison of the same song being played pre- and post-4.2

It's a real shame because this was a huge amount of fun but 4.2 all but ruined it. Please take this into consideration.

Great video, and I agree. Another problem is with keybindings. Some people would love to use the number pad, but you can't assign those keys for some reason. It would also be nice to add an option for an octave key-press to set the octave until until you change it again, removing the need to hold the key down while you play, while keeping the option to use it as it is now.
