My opinion, yada, yada.

Ive been a main tank since 2.0 but i always end up gravitating to melee dps simply because low level content (and boy we end up doing a lot of that) is a snooze fest for tanks.

Switching to DPS stance during this content didnt seem that fun either, the difference is neglible and the dps rotations for tanks were pretty boring too.

Not anymore!! the new WAR is a BEAST and switching to DPS is so satisfying!!, thanks SE, this new war is after my own heart, i like to lead the groups, take the beating and stand in the face of huge badass bosses but i also like to see those big numbers and beat the crap out of trash enemies , i am one happy gamer.

I hope he doesnt get nerfed but instead DRK is brought up to speed, PLD is fine really, he has a lot of raid utility but of course that only makes sense for people who actually raid, for others he is the tank with a lot of abilities I never really need to use.

I was a bit worried the changes would make the job too easy to play, and to a degree it's a bit TOO simple now, but the changes make Warrior feel a lot more flexible and help cut down on some of its glaring issues. All in all a good change.

And those queue times and rewards you get from roullete, they actually are my main source of gil and i am rich enough to blow it on house and glamour even though i dont play War but DRK. :P

Have to agree with you, OP, the new Warrior is ridiculously fun and having recently switched to maining both it and Dark Knight for my static... I honestly couldn't be happier with it. I feel that, as far as Warrior is concerned, they've perfected it for this expansion and there's no need for them to backpedal on it—I would even argue that Warrior should be used as a basis for the other two jobs to be brought up to speed, as while it's simple and mindless in many ways, it is fun and engaging and simply feels good to play.
