    Excog & faerie gauge

So, something wrong with excog and faerie gauge. I noticed this about a week ago but I thought it was just me so I've been testing it out in my expert dungeons. Half the time I use excog, it increases the gauge and half the time it doesn't. I thought it was a proximity thing and so I tried it when I was right on top of the tank, and it still failed to move the gauge. Then I thought, perhaps we get it when it is used or expires, and nope.

Is it working as intended? That we only get the 10 to the faerie gauge sometime or is it just bugged for me? Anyone else notice this?

Every gauge in the game fills only once you're in combat.

If you use Excog before the tank pulls anything, you won't generate fairy gauge.

I'm fairly certain I've 95% of the time I put it on the tank when he's pulled but I'll watch myself from now on on that.

I have a doubt on something and you might need to test it.

    That's about aggro.
If the tank pull, but you didn't do anything, you're still out of combat. That's the moment you do a heal that you enter it.
If the first skill you do to engage is encog, maybe the game still considered you were out of battle.

Try using adlo or physick first, then excog.
Then try just using excog at the engage and see how it goes.

Cause right now, I don't see anything else than this.

    Never had that problem.

It may also be the method behind how the heal itself goes off. I'd assume it might be weird if it times out verses actually goimg off early.

Excog going off does not determine whether or not you get gauge filled, it's just the act of using an Aetherflow stack that fills it, so I think it's most likely the fact they are actually not in combat when casting it, and that it doesn't immediately heal (unless we're noticing similar behavior with, say, Lustrate, or Energy Drain).

It's an in combat thing. Outsite of ex/savage I rarely even remember my faerie bar since the occasional indom solves all problems, but yeah.
