What does the change in tempo mean during the moogle fight?

See subject line. Music gets faster and slower during the first stage of the moogle fight. But what does it mean/do?

I think its a cue on whether you are doing it right, lol. In order to take them all down before memento, you have to keep a special pace, and the music stumbles if too many are spawning faster than you can kill them.

Not sure why the music changes to be honest. Seems to be totally random to me.

yea i think its just the game being weird. sometimes my music with suddenly stop for a second and start over so i think its just the track or whatever messing up

I think as it's getting faster it's getting closer to the time the King Mog comes out. If you don't keep with the tempo in killing the moogles, you might get overrun before the King comes out.

Well, during the fight usually if someones music gets weird, in our group we state when the music changes on ventrilo. It is never the whole group, usually only 1-4 people that the music changes. I just don't think it has anything to do with the kill speed, not that I know for sure.

All i know if you kill all the moogle the king moogle come out faster and does his two hour faster but i don't know what the tempo means.
