Character re-customization

I expect to get a lot of hate for this post but here goes:

Disclaimer: I'm not asking to turn the game into WoW. Square can do much better than that.

However, there is one feature I'd love to have ingame, both as a convenience and as a gil sink for the economy.

It'd be nice. I don't have a particular source (wish I did, but it was a long time ago in internet time) but I remember reading that at blizzcon, the announcement of the barber shop got more cheering than any other content that was announced, such as the raids and new items/content. The developers were actually surprised by how enthusiastic the response to that features announcement.

It's not too far of a stretch to say that a lot of people will get sick of how their character looks after playing with them for 2 years, 3 years, four? It'd be fun to change things up a bit every now and then, especially considering all the options you get at the start for these, it'd be nice to enjoy some of the other options without having to create another character.

An NPC or device that allows Hair and feature recustomization for a modest gil fee. Hair color/style and say, earrings and such.

I would sure like to get my character's "Hair did", being able to possibly get some highlights or a new haircut would be a nice change, now that we can remove our helmets and actually look at our hair.

They did say we will get some kind of barber shop later on, that's as far as it should go imho.
