I am talking about the immersion, the presence,
Now people mostly zoom as far as possible, because the boss mechanics (they need some changes too?)
that make us look so tiny, to “fix” this visual issue,some new bosses size are too large,
that looks weird, unnatural & less engaging
The goal is to make the game more fun, it is a design problem & logic ,
Not because: "I need to zoom out to dodge something", it's because YOU CAN ZOOM THAT FAR, so there are more AoEs, & the AoEs are larger, the bosses are larger, and our characters are so tiny,
it's not fun if the game mechanics force you to zoom very far, or the mechanics are designed under such zoom distance (large AoEs),
or the boss size is stupidly big, you've to zoom very far to see what's happening, that's not fun

another good examples:
I can use the default zoom in the XIV low level dungeons, but lately, this become impossible, I've to zoom very far to dodge the AoEs, to dealt with the boring"jump rope" mechanics,
the high level boss fights in XIV are more like an old Diablo game...

The zoom in XIV boss fights should be like this, of course, the game mechanics need some changes too,
