    What kind of mouse/keyboard do you have? Do you have a controller you can try out and see if you can select something even if it is invisible?

    What Operating System do you have?

    Keep following Einmimirias advice here, but since the launcher is just a fancy Internet Explorer screen, have you attempted to clear the Temporary Internet Files in Internet Explorer yet? (I'm going out on a limb here assuming you aren't using the Mac client)
    It solves a surprisingly large amount of launcher issues. This holds true even if you yourself don't use Internet Explorer as your primary web browser.

    Heh, last time I mentioned this, it worked, but the main issue was trying to convince the poor fellow that Windows 10 does indeed come with IE, even if it's just a bit hidden lol. Good times that one was.
    (Secretly mentioning this to avoid having to explain that to someone new)

    i use windows 10 & have a left handed razer naga.
    i do have a controller, i'll give it a try when i reinstall ff in the morning

    Quick notice: it seems, that this problem is more about some issues with graphical subsystem either than controllers.
    For me personally, updating drivers for my videocard (I have NVIDIA 980Ti) to the latest version solved the problem.
    Also, imjustahealer, I suggest you to check if you have any programm, that is using screen overlay, and to turn this option off, if so. For my husband, the problem was with Discord overlay - somehow after the last maintenance FF14 has issues with interracting with it.

    Problem is with Square

    I to have exactly the same problem...none of the fixes suggested here have made any difference...alot of people having this problem since the hotfix...seems that the hotfix has caused the issue and square enix needs to find why and apply a fix for that...i run win7 with razor keyboard and mouse ..this needs be fixed asap
