    Glamour question

With the addition of glamour plates, it makes things convenient to glamour your gear. However, some items are not compatible with glamour plates nor the armoire.

So, apparently there is no way to undo a glamour plate with the original item short of reversing the glamour and then applying an item as glamour?

That seems a bit broken I think. Or, am I missing something here?

Thanks for your help with this!

you mean.. removing a glamour from an item? Or converting a glamour BACK to what it was glamoured before you applied the plate?

Plate applied glamours act just like normal glamours: They need to be removed with a glamour removal prism OR applied over with a new glamour. there is no way to "reverse" applying the plate.

Are you trying to remove a glamour from an item? If you want to revertthe item to its original look, you need an item called a glamour dispelled, which can be purchased from a vendor in any major city (I think it's the one that sells the racial starter gear and gyashl greens, but I could be mistaken.

If you want to glamour over an item you already glamour via a plate with one not compatible with the dresser, them you can just buy a glamour prism and do it the old way.

Thanks for clearing this up guys. I was afraid we'd have to do it this way. This makes it cumbersome if we want to playing around with glamour, especially with items that aren't compatible with glamour plates or armoire.

Glamour plates are basically just shortcuts to an outfit glamour. It's still operating on the same base glamour system.
