    Saying it is much easier than them actually being able to do it. They need to have all necessary permissions and such before any cross-over can be done, even bringing back past music has to have this as well. Do they own all rights? Do they need to contact someone for permission?

    Honestly wondering how many people actually think 'Will they have permissions to even think about doing so?'

    Chrono Trigger is owned by Square Enix, so in this case, yes they would have permission to use all of it.
