Lofts and staircases in houses

I have to express my disappointment in the "bug" being fixed that made making lofts out of things like the group stages and stairs out of shelves. These allowed us to build additional cool things in the vertical plane. I wanted to use this to make a book nook within a library made in my house or to have a hot tub in a limited space apartment. Please SE could we bring this back and maybe even make official furniture items that could accommodate this? I would love to see several different types of spiral staircases or lofts available in game.

It was a bug, but it wasn't a gamebreaking one. Unless it was causing some damage, I would have left it alone.

According to a female-roe-playing friend, it messes with the player PoV, she says everything looks shaky. People in her party said she looked fine, but she said it was hard to look around.

Actually some players used the loft building glitch to boundary break outside of housing areas. One particular player even placed furniture outside the boundary and into the void to resemble the Kingdom Hearts opening dream sequence, floating staircase to carpeted pillars.

I kinda wish I could see a picture of that. Sure it was a bug used to go out of bounds but that sounds amazing.

You can still (and always) build a loft using those cushions - granted, uses a LOT more item-slots, so probably only really viable in small houses and apartments, but it lets you adjust the height freely since you're not bound to window-height. I build one in my FC-room, adjusted to the height of my character. Worked quite nicely - annoying as hell to do though...

I really doubt SE would bother to 'fix' this glitch except maybe by accident. There are a couple of housing-related glitches that have been in place since the outset and are basically regarded as features now. None of them hurt anything to leave in, and people like them, so there would be no point except to piss people off.
