I managed to relocate my FC estate from a mansion in Mist to an cottage in Shirogane.

So yeah.. Today when SE opened up plot purchasing for individuals, I was excited to finally buy a small little house for myself.

After about 10 minutes of error 1016, the plot I had logged out in front of gets bought in front of me, and I dash to my alternative plots in same ward, but they also get bought in front of me..

No biggie, I dash over to Goblet and grab a small plot from there which I had considered as an back up in-case I dont get an plot in Shirogane.

Then I hear in my linkshell that there were some small plots available in shirogane, so I dash over there with plan to relocate my goblet plot to Shirogane..

And to my horror, after noticing, that I managed to relocate my FC estate from an mansion plot in Mist to the shirogane small plot..

So im stuck with the shame of this act, and hope that in future, SE would enable an feature to reverse such an decision (like 30 minutes? aren't the relocated plots locked an hour) in case an mistake is done.

If you have the funds relocate back. It's locked for now for new purchases but someone else could relocate.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune :S

Relinquished plots are locked for new purchases for an unspecified period of time (random), but relocations have no such restriction and can buy them straight away so quite likely wouldn't be anything left to reverse.

The only restriction relocations have is that you can only relocate once every 5 minutes.

Well, I only had 19 million gil in hand, because I only had in mind of buying an small plot and begin furnishing it..

And not causing this sort of disaster.

But because of Odin's population, that plot is long gone, think it was bought the moment it came off from locked status.

Since this damage is done let me try my best to help you fix it by saying: I have reason to believe that one of the mansions in ward 2 will become available not to long from now - the FC it belongs to seems pretty dead by now and unless that changes within the next two weeks or so, the mansion should go back up for sale. So I'd keep an eye on that if I were you! Good luck!

Ah, thanks for the information, we'll certainly be looking out for the mansion then in Mist around that time. Working my rear off right now making as much gil as possible, ideally to pay off the relocation price myself.

First time I ever actually handled with houses... And Shirogane plots were going left and right, like.. that one plot that sent our mansion to it, had 3 other people right by it as well, looking at it..

So mix of stress, panic and fat finger...
