I would love to put the imitation windows on top of the regular ones hiding these.

As much as I would love to have an actual view out of my window I doubt it will happen anytime soon if at all. That would mean a lot of processing power of the servers to keep those "screen savers" running all the time I would assume (not a pro sorry).
Also I can already hear the whining about how plastering one whole side of a house with windows ends up showing 30 times the same image instead of one huge scenery as it should. I guess that stays a dream.

I mean i doubt it's that much a a stretch from aquariums we have already which have fish swimming around.

A simple solution could be having a setting that turns off internal windows - so you could place your own.

Though having recently plastered half of my small house with immitation windows - I have more or less successfully hid the original windows with that.

I want to look outside. It doesnt matter if its real or not. Still better than those standard LED-Panels windows. Especially the normal Shirogane-windows make me feel like living in a prison.

You can also implement some kind of balcony for private rooms. Just something where you can step out a bit and watch a generic background (forest, beach, whatever). Still better than glowing windows.

??? I have 10-20 windows on blank partitions in my houses, you can do it...you're asking for something that does actually exist. Look online to see them on partitions. Lots of people doing it. However, you cannot put over existing windows that I know of.

They're asking to be able to put them on partitions, not glitch them onto partitions.

This is a glitch that can be done, yes, but it's still more difficult (at least to me) than most of the glitches I use in housing. Being able to just put them on a partition without having to glitch it would make me very happy. That's not the main point of this thread, however, just an aside in my comment of loving the windows.

They should just get rid of the pillars and windows in houses and put the default designs for sale on the NPC vendors. I had to wall off my interior just to hide the default windows and pillars against the walls.

Yeah, there should be inside slots like there are outside, and for windows and pillars you can pick 'none' as a choice, or have the basic designs, or designs from other housing areas. For walls, there should be a generic 'white dyeable' like the stage partitions if you don't want the papers. And then the windows can go anywhere.

Same here. It would save a lot of data have a internal fixture like the house skins where we have a dyeable wall, easy to stick windows.
