Please make the futon a tabletop item

Since a lot of us are doing japanese houses to have a futon was something that made me really happy, but I was thinking of using it over the new "floor" I did with my hingan sideboard and.... I can't D:

So please, PLEASE, can you make the futon a tabletop item??

While it would be nice, I don't see it happening since the futon is much larger than many tables.

Better if they add a loft item that will automatically snap to the same height as the top of windows and doors (but can be used on any wall/full partition). This has become very popular and helps to make smalls houses and apartments more desirable.

I don't agree that the futon, specifically, should be a tabletop item - because it's a bed. Beds go on the floor. However, I think that they should relax a lot of the tabletop/floor restrictions, because it's ridiculous what you can and can't put on things like the troupe stage. This could cover the futon, too. (Although given the way we float things, they probably don't want to relax the restrictions because of it. I still think they should.)

I set a doll and a stuffed teddy bear on each side of the futon pillow. They also can be set all over the lower part. That's probably pretty much they will end up doing for this but who knows?

I'm with you on this. I had a great idea for dropping a troupe stage down and putting the futon on that to create a raised sleeping platform and add some depth to the room only to find I couldn't because the blasted thing is classified as a rug. =/

Yes. This needs to happen. More things need to be able to go onto the troupe stage. Or they just need to create a new "loft" item with it's own category and everything can be be placed on it.

Sort of, but futon are occasionally placed on raised platforms, particularly for older citizens who find them easier to get in and out of.

It would be nice just to have some more decorating possibilities. I like the idea of setting the futon on top of the hingan sideboards to give the appearance of a bed with drawers beneath it.

It would be nice if all items had a floor and table top/shelf option.

The restrictions are too limiting and just force players to use bugs just to bypass.
