Plz do something about the multiplot owners

I realy appricate that SE goes with the new patch one step in right direction when it comes to housing. But as with a lot of other things it feels that they stoped after the half way. Its nice to see that inthe feature players only can own 1 private and FC house per world (like it should have been right from the start). But this changes nothing for servers where the plots are allready sold out since months/years and several people own multiple plots with there twinks.

Its possible for one player to own a max of 16 plots per World and there are different people that make use of it. They stuck up the plots just for selling them later for mutch higher price, they didnt even use them (except maybe 1 o 2 for private use). This shouldnt simply be possible in a game where the housingplots are allready very limited right from the start.

SE should give these people a limited amount of time to decide witch private and FC plot they whant to keep and making all other availible to the market again. Adding the rule without changing the current situation feels like joke.

They can't. Because, when they bought their plot, there was no rule about limited plot.
Yes, it is indeed totally sad that one person can own multiple plot while it's really hard for some other player to get at least one.
But it's not players fault, it's dev team. And dev team can't take away plots and "punish" player for that because they broke no rules.

Yes, i think we all agree that, considering the current situation with housing... people owning severals plots isn't fair. But again... well they did nothing wrong.

So nothing will be done in my opinion.

Multiplot owners that got them with resell purpose already got screwed: you cannot resell anything no more.

When you relinquish land, that become unsellable for a random time and you cannot see how much time before it turns again available for purchase.

Only thing still left to address, is selling FCs with their housing but it was mitigated with the "one account one FC house" rule.

Well think of it like this.

Houses are in a sense, items.

When someone takes everything from an FC chest and leaves, SE can not force those items away from the person, due to them having access in the first place.

It's the same way with housing.

People are prevented from doing this in the future, but they can NOT change what exists at the moment. Kweh.

Well i think they can, because its simply abuse what some players do. Just because its possible it dosnt meant that you should do that. Yes the rules didnt exsist when they bought the plots and it would be another thing if they would use them for personal stuff. But blocking plots on purpose just to raise the plotprize for maximizing their own profit shouldnt be tolerated and be punish.

This is wrong in other mmos players can get punished for that, because behavior like that has big negative effect at the rest of the guild. Because you dont want ruin the fun for other players just because one is an asshole.

Should they have their "extra" houses taken away? Probably. But the devs won't because at the time there was no rule or restrictions to prevent such a thing happening. To punish someone for a new law isn't fair and would set some crappy precedents. While it's against the spirit of how the devs wanted the housing system to work, they failed to think people would hoard houses out of naivete or oversight.

Going forward with a fairer and unfortunately more restrictive system is about all we can hope for

A simple thing to do would be to put in some kind of housing tax that has to be paid every week for upkeep of a house.Set at the right rate it could potentially cripple house hoarders and force them to relinquish some of their property due to upkeep.
Also you could have the houses relinquished if after a certain period of time payments were being made.Make it a month or so.This could free up all the properties for those who never log on but still own property.

Point is people should stop complaining, if people got previous lots they are being grandfather, if it gets demolish they won't have that chance to have more. Same process. New plots are being put in, now they can't buy right away to give people a chance for competition. So in a way it is pointless to try and sell them and would only benefit if they sell the account. So for now SE has complied lets stop with it's not fair, We all know people will complain regardless that we have a life and no time.
