Expanded Cross World Blacklist Functionality Needed

I had a very bad falling out with a former friend who I played FFXIV with (hopefully she doesn't read these forums lol!), and I blacklisted her.

Then, I decided to world transfer, to play with other friends. I didn't anticipate that I wouldn't be able to re-add her to my blacklist, as the player search is only on your own world. Blacklisting her hadn't even removed her from my friend list! It was a nasty surprise to click on all of those Cannot Retrieves on my friend list and seeing her, and online no less.

She knows my character name through a mutual friend. I really, really wish that I could blacklist her and reduce the chance that I will run into her on party finder randomly. I can't even be sure that she won't see my character name if I create a party.

I understand that this is a niche concern, but if the devs want to expand cross world functionality, there should really be a way to blacklist someone on a different world without having to interact with them first.

You're out of luck until you are matched with the other person in a cross-world party.

Blacklisting does nothing to prevent random matching in DF anyway, and only bars them from joining a PF you created (you can both still join a 3rd party PF). So, basically, blacklisting does nothing anyway and SE won't alter that, so you're best bet is to move on and ignore the other person.

Yes, I know that, that's why I'm saying that the functionality should be improved.
