Lost housing item relocating

So I decided to relocate my small house from the Mist the lavender beds and while going through redecorating the interior I discovered I was missing one item was the little ladies Day poster. Verseman housing item from last year's little ladies day event. It was the only item apparently that's been taken away deleted what not. What can I do to try to get this item back other than hoping that they'll eventually put it on the Mog Station. Has this happened anyone else losing an item when you relocated? And by the way I did have enough space to be able to relocate within interior and my store room.

Are you sure it's not in the storage or somewhere else?

Did you maybe have a tenant that took it down?

If it's really gone, you should be able to contact a GM if it was really a game glitch that got ride of it.

does relocating from small to small usually put all your items in storage? It was my understanding that if you moved to a similar house that the items inside wouldn't be affected, have you checked the placed decorations to see if it's just glitched into something?

When I transferred from a medium house to another medium it put everything in storage. I had to build from scratch. /rip
