Why oh WHY is the storyline so poor, absent and cutscene free? NPCs speak like they could be from any bland rpg they have no attachment to what the player is doing at all.
What. The. Hell.

So much for what I really wanted to talk about. I am glad anouther post got taken over by people who don't like the game.
I think analyzing the video is really grasping at the straws.
I really want to like the game but they need to hire some better writer to give us some reason to fight for.
Even in the early stages the story loses it's focus and there are no main characters to care about.
As much as I dislike giving XII's bad story any credit I must say that at least it was more cohesive than this one.
What about stories from Final Fantasy games III to XI? Why can't they hire the same writers? I'm sure even Hironobu would be willing to do some freelance for the right amount of money.

The adventurer was not from the empire, he was being constricted by the morlboro when the empire thing crashed ontop of him. This knocked him out and he ended up on the ship.
My guess is that Ishgard was behind the dragons but them being summons I kinda doubt, we'll need more insight on ishgard. I know the guards at the gate mentioned something bout giving myself to the fury but I walked away thinking he was hitting on me.
