That's my house in game! Well, Plot 49 but same thing. It seems like every time I login it is sunset time and it's just an absolutely gorgeous view! I lucked up so much with that plot!

I love Mist 30/60(medium) and Shirogane 17/ 47 (small). Most of the houses on the edges of the map in Shirogane & Mist are absolutely lovely.

Shirogane - 17/47 small, 19/49 or 1/31 medium, 30/60 large
Mist- 19-21 best views, special mention 8, 11 13, 23, 22 smalls, 6/36 or 30/60 medium, 5/35 large
The sightlines in the Mist are overall better than Shirogane and I notice the entryways aren't as clumped in weird ways. For a lot of the houses I feel like the doors / houses could be facing the other way and it would be so much better. For example the houses that face another house's entryway instead of having a beach view. Most of this is in Shirogane but some like Mist 30, you could turn it so it faces the courtyard / ocean instead of the neighbor's house. It's nice for the Shiro beachfront homes to be right next to the beach properly though. In Mist there's still a wall thingy whereas like plot 17's backyard in shiro is a little raised and is right on the ocean. I also like the little details like hidden hot springs / cave in Shiro that the other zones don't have.

I'm partial to ocean / beachside views but there's tons of lovely plots by Goblet and Lavender Beds as well. Anywhere in LB is pretty much very fairy sylph country and Goblet is a lot of dirt /desert but the sky at night and the poolside is ok. My main issue with Goblet is with the houses that hang off cliffs without a view or the houses where the view is just another neighbor's house.
LB- 22,29 best and special mention the cluster around 7-10 small 16,11 medium, 3 large I guess. Not a fan of the layout for big houses since medium plot 11 is so good.

Goblet - smalls around the pool and plots 1&7, plot 19 and 4 for medium, 30 & 13 for large

I agree, plot 30 in Mist has awesome views

For mediums, everyone seems to always say plot 6 in the Mist. I'll agree, it does look better "on paper", which is why I got it initially. A plot 30 opened up, so I decided to move for a change of scenery, and I actually preferred it! Such a nice, roomy spot - with an amazing view to boot. I finally got a plot 5 like you, which is my favorite in the game (well 35 is actually my favorite, but you get what you can when it's available), but I sincerely believe that plot 6 is overrated and plot 30 is underrated - though they are both awesome. If I was going to downsize to another Medium though, it would have to be plot 41 in the Lavender Beds. I had this plot on another server before I moved, and it's definitely my second favorite. Shirogane 30 would probably be third, but I find it difficult to get past the interiors in Shiro... I'm also very fond of Goblet 49. Goblet 19 has too many moving shadows from the windmill during the day, which I find distracting. I can't think of a housing area that I actually prefer the main ward to the subdivision! Seems like they actually thought about orientation when they implemented the second go around... hahaha

IMO 30 is better than 6 view wise have tried both and can confirm. The only plot better than 30 in Mist is arguably 5 (Large) but 30 is probably best medium house in the Mist and one of the better Mediums in the game.

Mist 5/35 being the only Grade 1 Large house in the game speaks volumes as to how good the location is.

I have plot 36 in Mist for my FC and love it. Feels like a vacation house.
