What are the highest rated/desired plot locations?

As title says. I'm curious as to what others rate as being THE very best, cream of the crop plots, by size and residential location. Try to provide a reason if possible. This might also help new buyers who haven't spent a thousand hrs looking at plots like SOME of us have. I'll go first:

Mist:
L- plot # 5 perfect beachfront view, secluded, private
M- #30 secluded, on cliff with great view, extra land all around, huge courtyard. mB semi close
S- #19 beachfront, MB 3ft away, npc vendors close by also.

Lav beds:
L- #3 secluded, has it's own corner, apts close by, MB close by also
M- #11 river is a few feet away with steps in/out water, extra water Lily pond, secluded, MB semi close.
S- #29 private island entrance with bridge, waterfall view, secluded.

Goblet:
L-#13 waterfall view, yard with great view into brimming hearts, MB close by. Private
M-#19 Pools 4 ft away, only med by water, MB semi close.
S-#20 pools just off doorstep. At base of beautiful waterfall.

Shirogane:
L-#16 I'm going to get alot of crap for this, but I feel it's better than #30 because of the privacy, and the extra land on both sides, bamboo forest. You also don't have to deal with ERPers contaminating your hot springs, with Ummm love nectar.
M-#28 Private (no neighbors right in front of you like #8), waterfall in front of yard. Extra land on sides for RPing.
S-#5 Private, no neighbors on left, right, or just behind you. Private Firefly pond next to you, lots of extra land on sides for RPing, views, stream just behind plot.

Ok there's my opinion. What are yours?! I'd love to hear them. OKGO

Mists, I like plot 2 better as a large. Still has a great view of the water since that walkway is in front of it. It's close to the apt MB and has 2 aether shards near it. Mediums, I would argue that 4 & 6 are probably just as desirable as 30. Smalls, 20 & 21 should be added to the list. Some people don't like the MB traffic to be right in front of their home, so those two are nice since they're still beachfront but without the people standing around blocking their stairs.

Lav Beds, plot 28 as the large (it's also secluded, but has the waterfall view, only real complaint is the bark that sticks up and blocks the view some). 16 as the medium (has better views imo with basically all the same perks as 11). I agree on 29 being the small there, but would like to add 9 to that list (small near 11, great views, blah blah).

Goblet, agree on plot 13 as large (though I know some people greatly prefer the canyon view from 30, especially with how secluded it is). Agree about plot 19, and I can't even think of a medium back up. Agree that plot 20 is best, with basically everything in the brimming heart being a nice back up.

Shirogane, I prefer plot 7 for the large (even though it faces the wrong way imo). While it has no privacy, it's still close to the secluded beach and the cave hot spring (better hot spring imo). 8 all the way for best medium. On the beach, private beach next to it with best hot spring. I really have no preference with the smalls in Shirogane. I've heard lots of people liking lots of different plots for a million different reasons, but I honestly can't think of any that I'd want to own.

Mist - 15 (L) is on the top of my list. Not close by the beach but amazing view and feels secluded along with plenty of space around. Close to an MB and you feel like king of the hill up there.

Medium - 1. 8 ; 2. anything beachside ; 3. 24
Large - 30 or 7, both great

Goblet -

medium - 19
Large - 30, but none are too great

Lavender Beds -

smalls- 29 or 17
mediums- 1. 16 ; 2. 11
Large - 28, but none are too great

Mist
L - Plot 15. While #5 is nice, I love the view #15 has, it also has a marketboard nearby, and the feeling you get from owning a mansion at the top of the hill must be amazing. I really adore that plot, my fave Large plot by far.
M - Plot 30. Beautiful views, a large courtyard and a marketboard nearby. What more can you ask for?
S - Plot 19. Gorgeous beachfront house with massively convenient spots nearby.

Lavender Beds
L - Plot 28. It's secluded, so even if your neighbors put ugly paissa exteriors, it doens't matter. Also the MB isn't too far.
M - Plot 11. My favourite plot in the game by far, a gorgeous lake view and seclusion from neighbors. It's a stunning plot.
S - Plot 29. A waterfall view and almost total isolation, what else can you ask for?

Goblet
L - Plot 30. Isolated, a marketboard nearby, and gorgeous canyon views. My only concern is my (small) neighbor putting up a horrid paissa/chocobo/moogle exterior.
M - Plot 19!! This is my house!! I'm so happy I got it!! Poolfront view, near the MB, and just really nice overall for organizing RP events.
S - Plot 20. The waterfall house has a really cute view and is just steps away from the pool.

Shirogane
L - Plot 30. Hot springs nearby, a gorgeous view of the ward, and right next to a marketboard 10/10
M - Plot 8. A secret passageway to hot springs, nice views of the ocean, and not TOO far from the MB.
S - Plot 21. Beachfront beauty with a nice place to lay down in the sun nearby- Also right next to a MB.

Mist - As Larges go I like plot 45, or plot 15 I guess it would be in the non subdivision. I like it better than the one right on the water because it has so much land around it, it’s up on the hill and the entire house faces the water, not just the side. Whenever I walk out I feel like I’m in a castle on the hill overlooking the kingdom lol.

Medium, I would probably agree with the one in the original post. I had that one before I relocated this last patch, so I may be biased.

Small - Any of the three right on the beach.

Lavender Beds - This is really the only other area I looked around.

There’s a secluded large, I forget the plot number. You cross a bridge to get to it, and it has waterfalls in the front and far side. There’s like a cliff where all you see is waterfalls. That’s literally the only place I would even consider moving to from my current house.

I haven’t looked around Shirogane or the Goblet that thoroughly so I really couldn’t say.

My favorites are:

Shirogane - Large Plot 16 (Privacy, looking down on peasants, space on the sides)
Mist - Large Plots 5 & 15 (by the beach or on the hill looking down on the peasants)
Goblet - Large Plot 30 (the canyon view and privacy is great)
Lavender Beds - I am not a fan of this area.

I can chime in with the plots I think are most popular. At least for The Lavender Beds and Shirogane. The Mist and The Goblet are more assumptions, since I don't ever seek housing there. This is going off of how quickly I've seen these plots sell in the past, as well as a hint of personal preference.

The Lavender Beds:
Smalls:
Plot 28 / 58 — Secluded, beautiful backyard view of the waterfall.

Mediums:
Plot 11 / 42 — The God-tier medium. Beautiful water view (with swimming area now!), pond with flowers right outside your door, secluded, MB close by, and the house faces the water, so if any of the houses around you are an eyesore, you won't see them every time you come out of your house. (These plots sell before any mansions do in The Beds, usually.)
Plot 16 / 46 — The Second God-tier medium with a lot of the perks of Plot 11 / 41. Just on the other side of the Ferry Skipper.
Plot 27 / 57 — Close to a MB; it's literally right outside your door. Only con is pray your neighbors don’t have ugly houses/yards.
Plot 30 / 60 — Beautiful view of the waterfall, semi-secluded and not too cramped; if your neighbors have ugly houses, they won’t be too big of an eyesore for you. Bit far from an MB, but I think the waterfall view makes up for that.

Larges:
Plot 28 / 58 — Secluded with a gorgeous view.
Plot 6 / 36 — Also secluded with a nice little river running beside it; has a semi-good view of a waterfall. Not near any neighbors that would serve to be eyesores. Semi-close to an MB. I personally prefer this large over the other two.

Shirogane:
Smalls:
Haven't given much thought to the smalls, but...
Plot 21 / 51 — Beachfront small.
Plot 22 / 52 — Another beachfront small.
If you have a friend you want to live by, the two of you can buy up 21/51 and 22/52 and be cute little neighbors. :3 The houses face one another, and I think this is pretty cute.
Plot 29 / 59 — Near a MB, kind of off in its own little nook with 30/60 and 28/58.

Mediums:
Plot 8 / 38 — Hidden hot springs. That is all.

Larges:
Plot 30 / 60 — Again, hot spring right behind the plot. Nice view from the hot spring too.
Plot 16 / 46 — Bamboo forest around it; semi-unobstructed view...though the small in front of it can be an eyesore if someone makes the house gaudy.

I am actually not a fan of Plot 7 / 37 because it faces the wrong way... It’s a beachfront house...that doesn’t face the beach... That instantly makes it my last choice for a mansion in Shirogane.


Again, I'm not sure about the Mist or the Goblet. But for the Goblet, I can say any of the houses around The Brimming Heart, and Plot 13 / 43 (Large) because THAT VIEW. I was tempted to forsake the Lavender Beds for that mansion. The Mist...probably the two beach front mansions (2/32 and 5/35), and I have also heard good things about plots 29/59 (Medium) and 30/60 (Medium).

I never really looked around the Goblet or Mist, and I've only poked around the Lavender Beds a bit (by the time I'd started talking to my friend about getting a house together Shirogane was in the works, and we knew we wanted something there.)

Lavender Beds:

29/59 - love how secluded it is, and the waterfall! Managed to help a friend grab this plot this time around.
11/41 & 16/46 - cute mediums, I like the views of all of the water
28/58 - large, love for the same reason I loved 29/59
Shirogane:
17/47 - we bought this small in 4.1, and the beach/sunset view is /amazing/. Glad we've upgraded, but it was a happy first house!
22/52 - friends just bought this small and I really love the view, though not how far it is from the mb
8/38 - Easily the one we wanted most (hot spring! ocean view! hidden beach! nearby mb!), and we managed to relocate there this time around
19/49 - medium, view isn't as good as 17 because it's reversed, but still very nice beachfront property
28/58 - medium, I loved the little waterfall nearby and very close to a mb. Has kind of a nestled feeling
30/60 - large, of course, love the hot spring and the sunset, as well as the little shrine up on the hill. Also the view!
