Please Fix Bots!!!! in PVP. It's a Nightmare

Yeah, the bots now often say hello or o/ when joining, and then some sort of "gg" immediately as the game ends. The ones in level 30 gear at much higher levels are usually giveaways, but you'll often find level 70s that are just botting for tomestones or achievements. I've seen blatant "The Legend" and "The Hand of Mercy" bots, so yeah, people just don't give a crap. SE never acts on bots.

The bot people are using actually does a pretty fair job of mimicking a (very) crappy player. When I came back it took me a few games before I realized what was up, anyways (maybe Im dense lol). Apparently we can't link videos here, but if you search youtube you'll see what I mean. Its definitely a real problem. There's a hilarious video out there of a player "breaking" the bot by LOSing them with the cliff beside the big ice. Literally 15 or so Flames were just standing there piled on top of each other, "stuck", waiting for her to pop her head over the ledge enough that they could lob ranged attacks xD

As others pointed out its apparently just an Aether thing, which is really interesting. I guess north americans have a greater tendency to be entitled little expletives who have no problems ruining a game mode for others? "Cultural differences." lol...

I haven’t done any PvP in a while (since Garo), but I queued in this morning just to see what it was like. Got Shatter (8v8v8)...and it was ridiculous how easily my GC won (Maelstrom); 3 of the people in our party were bots, but with just 5 of us, we won by a landslide. It was utterly ridiculous how trivial the wins were. The other two GCs were nothing but bots; maybe 1 or 2 legitimate players. Makes for easy mount farming if you get in a group that isn’t mostly bots, I guess?

don't see why people care. if anything embrace it so matches end quicker so you get your exp and tomes faster lul, SE won't do anything about it but if they do then cool, doesn't really matter in the end though.
