Please Fix Bots!!!! in PVP. It's a Nightmare

The last 4 days I have not been able to get into rival wings to get my mount. I have 97 wins so far but the last 4 days has been a living HELL. I can only play a few hours a night so I que for it at 7PM and just like the other 3 nights I waited till 11:30 PM and never got in once. 4 1/2 hours waiting in DF that is a big Problem. I have notice bots on PVP before but that rival wings has become a heaven for them. Please SE fix this!!!.

A couple of solutions I have come up with would be.

1. Make it so rival wings is a once a day thing like the roulette in DF. This way the bots cannot re enter over and over again keeping the actually players out. Frontline is like that but not rival wings.

2. Monitor the Rival wings BG, You will noticed the bots follow the same pattern every round they att mameets only never collect CE and attack the towers solo never getting into one mech.

Unfortunately, any pleas to get SE to do something about the bots are falling on deaf ears, because reporting them hasn't ever accomplished anything for me and countless others.

The only ones they do ban (As far as I can tell) are the teleporting gil farmers, but I feel like it's just a publicity stunt because it only gets rid of them for maybe a day tops before they're replaced, while allowing them to make it look like they're actually making a meaningful effort to curb the bot issue when they make their monthly "illicit activity" reports when in reality what they're doing is about as effective as stomping on ants.

I feel genuinely convinced at this point that they value the money coming from the bot sub fees more then the satisfaction of their legit players.

Hi there! Same for me but not quite as long - still, I'm not familiar with 'bots'. Are those fake accounts? Fake players? How do they queue up for anything and participate? Sorry for being so obtuse but I have no idea about this stuff. Agree it should be added to roulette/Khloe's book.

I'm not finding the connection, if PvP was being over run by Bot's wouldn't that mean that que times would be significantly lower, not higher? I fail to see the benefit for a botter to waste so much time queuing for a match when they could be using that bot towards other endeavors.

I have to point out that botting doesn't seem to be as big an issue outside the NA data centers, but it is very much a problem for us. Bots generally won't move except to follow a "live" player until ice activates in Shatter. In Rival Wings, they typically push lanes with rather mindless behavior. They literally do exactly what the mammets do, and upon reaching a tower, will simply attack it on foot (which becomes an issue when you have a team that has CE for mechs but can't and won't use one). Other bot behaviors have been pinpointed and many of us have all but called out botting players by name. We understand the forum's rules regarding name-shaming, but in our forced silence, reports are ignored and we're left with no way to bring this to light.

This makes the situation seem very inconsistent or even false to some, but it is VERY real. It's an issue for live players because spots that could otherwise be filled by another live player are taken by several bots, and if you happen to be one of/the only live player, there's pretty much nothing you can do.

Square Enix's policies regarding screenshots and video as well as livestreams will not accept them as evidence, on the possibility that these media can be edited for possible false reporting. But without said evidence, reports go seemingly unanswered, as it seems the actual matches themselves aren't reviewed, and since bots/botting players won't openly mention it in chat, there's literally nothing to see, thus nothing to act upon. But again, the issue is VERY real, and many of us are pretty fed up with it. It grew exponentially at the start of Stormblood when PvP became an alternative source of XP, especially for DPS jobs that often suffer long queues. Six months later, while it has declined some because people have generally leveled what they wish to, the problem still persists, and now with fewer live players to call it out. Many avid PvPers were disappointed with the overhaul to PvP, couple that with openly cheating/exploiting for XP, and complete silence/being ignored by the devs, and this issue is only driving more real players away, giving more spots to these botting players.

How long are you going to ignore paying customers that abide your rules yet can't enjoy the game as they like, SE?

queing for FL is still the safest for bots, secondly after RW come out half of those bots moved on to RW (well im not sure how the que times for it bc i only played less than 20 matches lol). Major of ppl already lvld up they jobs by now which is the reason the ques times are so high. I really dont see the connection on how bots prevent you enter Rival Wing.
Is it maybe everyone on Primal datacetre are queue for Frontline Shattered?
72 men every 5 mins pop on prime time, it seems pretty obvious.

I love going to PvP, but several times I've been the ONLY real person among a group of 7 bots. (While the other two teams are in equal situations)

Please, fix this!, maybe there would be more people who would be encouraged to go to PvP, if it were not so many bots, personally it makes me feel very frustrated to lose because of this.

Basically, players install third party programs that essentially play the game for you. Since the rewards are so high even for last place, these game-breaking players just queue up for Shatter (which has proven to be the fastest and easiest to set bots up for if the insane prevelance of it in roulette is anything to go by), and go off about their business elsewhere. The program is able to do the bare minimum.

I think the issue is now that botting is so bad, legit players have been scared away, extendimg queue times to ridiculous time frames.

And, despite what you'd think, PVP botters are usually after EXP, and Frontlines/Rival Wings are still the fastest way to cheat EXP in huge quantities.
