I mean technically you not wrong however that's a feature in an expansion so im not counting that as a whole. I don't see them ever require you being lv70, cleared msq or whatnot.
At that point that might just require everyone fullfill mentor requirements.

Kiiinda? Except, if you have a friend with an apt there, you can get into the zone and while I wasn't in a position on my alt to test buying a house, I can't imagine they have that restricted, provided you can get to it.
Not tried myself only really going by what i've heard. Ah here we are on the patch notes Requirements
Must be level 50 with any class or job.
Must have the rank of second lieutenant in the Maelstrom, the Order of the Twin Adder, or the Immortal Flames.
Must have completed the main scenario quest "Not without Incident."
Now if this can all be skipped then the whole system is a bigger joke than I first thought.

How is it a violation of the rules to be a member of an FC at lvl 1? Another hater thats wants something for nothing, and waants to omit the time and energy others put into the game. probably plays 1 hour a week but wants everything that 40hr a week players have. Git gud and buy a house.A simple look through the ward navigator will show you TONS of "FC"s with only 1 member and a medium/large ward. Sometimes, even that only member is a level 1 character.
It's clearly a violation of the rules and it's really frustrating for real players and real FCs being unable to found a medium ward while we have to see this daily.
Yes you are right it's not against the rules but it is purposefully flouting the rules. Creating a free company with the intention of kicking the other 3 people is working the rules to your advantage, running the fc with a level 1 character again bending the rules, when u need to be Be a member of a Grand Company and Reach level 25.How is it a violation of the rules to be a member of an FC at lvl 1? I hope they crack down on it further and make it so leader needs to be level 70 and unlocked x mission etc. Actually with novice network and linkshells they should just make it lvl 70 till you can form a company or join one :P

Wow, so many whiny entitled people. I cringe to see what they are like outside of the game.
You want a house and there are none available on your server....move. Understand this those that are pissing and moaning, the vast majority of servers the housing issue was solved for the most part. Remember not everyone plays on Balmung or Ragnarok, so stop speaking for everyone else in your arguments.
Those that were grandfathered in, there is zero wrong with that. In most cases there were tons of houses available when they got their multiples. Now except on the most populated servers this is not even an issue.

I don't have any issues with 1 member FC's but having a single level 1 owner is definitely suspicious. I think what SE should do is make the rules for ownership the same as those to buy. This would reduce the odds of a flipper sitting on a house and require an equal effort to obtain a house regardless of means use to acquire it.

FC ownership requirements are a joke and raising the bar to prevent abuse from some will equally if not hinder to a worse degree the progress of others.I don't have any issues with 1 member FC's but having a single level 1 owner is definitely suspicious. If you say so.

I didn't say FC ownership. I said FC house ownership. Making the ownership requirements the same as the buying requirements would make every player meet the same criteria and likely put a crimp in the flippers as they would need a paid account for every house they wanted to flip concurrently. As it is now they only need one paid and can use lots of free accounts to transfer ownership.

And it falls on the same thing: To gain rank for a house can be done within a day if you have the resources. Hence why the people who currently abuse the system have no problem doing so. Whereas those who are looking to buy a house will have additional issues to deal besides the current one.I didn't say FC ownership. I said FC house ownership. Scorch-earth tactics are not gonna hurt the people some think they will. These level 1 "owners" were promoted to the rank. Adding requirements to FC house ownerships opens a can of worms on who can retain ownership.
