"The fish sense something amiss." all day?

I casted my line about 3 times at the Isle of Bekko this morning and I get the "The fish sense something amiss. Perhaps it is time to try another location." fine. That's normal. You go a few yalms away and fish. Right?

But this time the entire Ruby Sea is locked to that message and it's been 8 hours now and the entire zone is still locked to that message. When is this getting lifted? I know it's probably an anti-bot mechanism, but I'm just trying to fish and this is so frustrating and incredibly ridiculous! What's going on?

Edit: I guess the fix is to fish in an entirely different map and it'll reset. Weird.

To clarify this for anyone that stumbles across with the same question, there are actually two timers when you fish. One is specific to the location you stand at and the other is specific to the area you are fishing in. The first one, after a certain number of casts, you will need to move a few feet away to continue fishing at that hole. The second one, you need to cast at least once in another hole, then you can go back to the other and resume fishing there. (I was under the impression that it was specific to the fishing hole itself, not the zone, but I don't know if OP tried another hole in Ruby Sea before switching zones.)

They are indeed anti-bot measures. Unfortunately the first one seems really really inconsistent. I've gotten it after a single cast before.
