Cant get Plenary Indulgence

So, i have a big problem, since i returned to ffxiv (patch 4.2) and got my WHM skill Plenary Indulgence, i have never seen it get any confession stacks from medica 1/2 or cure 3, so in other words i have never been able to use it.
What can be wrong? and im doing 70 content ofc.
Have been trying for over 2 weeks now

Hmmm are you reading it properly?

Restores own HP and the HP of all nearby party members. Potency varies with current Confession stack.
1 Confession: 150
2 Confessions: 300
3 Confessions: 450
There is a 20% chance that party members (including self) are granted a Confession each time you heal their HP via Medica, Medica II, or Cure III.
Confession Duration: 10s
Can only be cast when at least one party member (including self) has a Confession granted by you.

Try it on fates with choco 20% is very low but I have seen it.

i have spammed medica just to test and the skill never lights up on my hotbar, dont know what im doing wrong.
if it works it must have popped atleast one over the 2 last weeks.

For this, you have to be in combat, and Medica/Medica II or Cure III have to hit targets. If you’re just spamming it without being in combat, Confessions won’t proc. Targets also have to take damage for Confession stacks to proc. If you’re healing targets that are at full HP, you won’t get Confession stacks.

There is a 20% chance that party members (including self) are granted a Confession each time you heal their HP via Medica, Medica II, or Cure III.

This isn’t a thing anymore; this was changed back in 4.05.

Party members will no longer be granted a Confession when HP is restored via Cure and Cure II. They will instead be granted a Confession when HP is restored via Medica, Medica II, or Cure III.

The chance of granting party members a Confession has been increased from 20% to 100%.

In-game tooltip reads as follows:

Party members (including self) are granted a Confesssion each time you heal their HP via Medica, Medica II, or Cure III.

Yes, i have tryed it in dungeons, fates and 24man raids, and is trying it right now in combat ofc, when i say spam, i have only used medica in combat to get it to proc.
Still wont work.

Have the targets taken damage? Confession will not proc if they haven’t taken any damage. If you have a friend nearby, and are near a striking dummy, have them switch to a crafter or a low level job, and then switch to a level 70 job. Immediately aggro the Striking Dummy and attempt to heal them with Medica, Medica II, or Cure III to see if Confession procs while their HP is not at full.

Other than that, all I can really think of is that you haven’t done the Level 70 job quest, which you need to do in order to unlock the skill.

EDIT: I checked your Lodestone (assuming that the character you have listed is the one you are having the issue on, though I found him on Odin and not Cerberus—this was the only character with the name you have on your profile that appeared when I searched), and you don’t seem to have the achievement Seeing White III, which is given to you upon completing your level 70 job quest. You need to complete the level 70 quest to get Plenary Indulgence. That would be your issue. ^^

Yes your right thank you for the correction, have not played as WHM since I maxed it out and was going based of job guide. Maybe looking at a video to get some context might help Golom ?

So here is the thing, im feeling so dumb right now.
since i havend played for like a year or something, i totally forgot about the class quest and apparently the lvl 60 class quest (Unease in East End) wont show up under recommended some how (maybe if you ding 61), it started to show at the lvl63 quest (An Aura for Trouble). so i totally missed it, and i just thaught that the button was "grayed out" cos i did not have any stacks,

Dont feel bad/dumb. You came back from a year off, a lot was changed in the meantime, and you need to re-learn some stuff. Perfectly natural. Ive lost track of how many times ive helped someone who cant figure out how to do something only to eventually figure out they never did the quest that lets them do whatever that something is. It happens.
