For crying out loud, 'fix' this godd***** necessity to switch to a class you queued up for a duty with. I just lost a duty because I entered into a battle as a tank just as the queue popped and I did not finish the battle until there were only three seconds left on it. And I couldn't change class!
I lost half an hour of waiting (queued as a samurai) just because the stupid game needs me to manually switch, which cannot be done in many situations that players tend to be in when waiting for it to pop in the first place when waiting.
And why?! Because the developers don't care to auto-change?! I can be in the middle of a fight when accepting the queue. I can be in the middle of playing triple triad. In the middle of shopping, using retainers...anything. But if I'm on the right class. Because, for some stupid reason, the game doesn't even attempt to do the switching.
I suggest the game try and put on the top-most gear-set from the list for the respective class. If it can, great. It will put you in the duty and, when switching out, ideally switch back to the original, but that's not necessary. I prefer to die than lose half an hour of waiting for a duty, and if I don't want to die, I can still ignore the pop-up like I'm FORCED to do right now. If it cannot be done due to inventory issues (often being a bug, but whatever)?! Then just return an error. No job switching, no nothing. Simple. Then players don't have to waste time only for the sake of avoiding to waste even MORE time.
And no, I could not avoid it by not entering a fight with low queue. It popped straight from 5. When I once sat at 2 for 15 minutes, 5 is way too much to depend on.
