All of them? RNG is a way of creating artificial scarcity as drop rates are adjusted. Some items may be given a 10% drop rate because the game devs don't want the item to be that scarce. Other items are given a drop rate of 0.01% because they are intended to be very scarce.

Housing is not scarce on Coeurl right now. You want a house? Come and get it. Available smalls are all over the place. Some mediums are still available. Larges are gone but there's always a chance you find one that's been relinquished (happened twice last week that I noticed). We've got the same supply of houses as any other world so it's not a matter of artificial scarcity at work.

None that I ever played. This was a first after playing numerous MMOs. "Oh, you can't get one because there are none left within gameplay." lmao. The poster above described Balmung people clicking for hours trying to get a plot off timer makes me ill. No excuse for that BS in an MMO. This game is marketed as having housing as part of the available experience. If it's not available, it's fraud.

Welcome to almost any MMO where players dont get all they want regardless how hard they try to achieve something.

Then dont put marketing and items behind such a thing. There is a difference between something being rare or hard to achieve and something being limited in numbers yet still receiving big amounts of items. I mean if we argue like that maybe we should limit other parts of the game too? Raids only for the first 10 teams per server? Or maybe only 100 mounts dropping from these raids? (And yes I also dislike the hellhound in pvp)

Housing is a big part of this game which can be seen in the amount of items we get and it being part of the website. Not only that put SE finally reacted after another round of rage from the community.

I'm a little worried that we're going to run into another issue from the ward system if they do keep adding more and that's with possible new districts. As they keep them even, new districts being added will immediately require a much bigger resource pool which means the likelyhood of new housing zones may start to diminish as we gain more and more wards in current ones.

I wouldn't consider this more successful then any other patch. It was less stressful for the vast majority of patches, but the housing system is plagued with the same issues it has had since the beginning.

Balmung and Ragnarok already have people complaining that they didn't have enough houses. I checked my server this morning, and there were only 50 plots left in the goblet, so I'm assuming those will probably be bought out by the weekend. There will be a good amount of servers soon enough who are going to have people complaining that there isn't enough houses.

Then you have the less populated servers, where the vast majority of the small houses are still available. If it was like how it was before they locked Balmung and let people move off of it for free... you're going to end up with a bunch of people who have empty plots as neighbors, and those people are going to complain that their wards are dead.

Asking someone to give up such a massive amount of networking for the sake of a virtual house is asking some players way too much. But, both those audiences benefit directly from housing, so what can you do other than ask SE to help?

It is a success because Balmung is not every other server. They have raiding, we all have housing.

While I haven't checked every district and ward, my chosen ward in the Goblet still has quite a few plots open in the subdiv. :3
