Thread: SMN and BLM melds

Hello, i want to main both SMN and BLM. I was wondering which stat i should meld to my gear pieces, because they share the gear.

PS. The most hardcore content i will currently do is extreme primals.

SMN and BLM don't actually share gear that much, SMN wants crit/dh items and melds and BLM wants spellspeed. If you only do primals, go with whatever, seriously.

Only ring is shared gear. For BLM you can take full spell speed and for SMN you can take 0 spell speed(outside of ring). For SMN you want focus crit>dh>det and for blm you want mainly spell speed and direct hit I think.

For the better sets possible they'll share the best pieces of gear sometmes, and sometimes won't. In the best cases only the ring will be shared which is something that can be done in the current gear tier. Ultimately you'll have to pick one of them to meld in their favor. If you want to play both equally I'd have you consider melding in favor of SMN (low spellspeed) since BLM benefits of all stats while SMN doesn't benefit much from the speed one. So basically focus on Direct and Critical and you won't be missing the mark on both of them.
