There's enough housing, just need to change servers for it or risk the bigger population servers. After trying on Balmung since 2.0 I finally got a personal, when i didn't i didn't blame the developers though, it's literally my own to blame for staying on a huge server. If you want a house that bad perhaps change.

I didn't get online until a good few hours after maintenance ended on Mateus and managed to snag a small plot in Mist. There's still two next door to my new home, too.

Even quiet servers are far from 'dead'. It's not like every single player enjoys flocking to a single bloated server, either. There's many legitimate merits to small/medium population servers.

Realistically, there's a high chance that less people are interested in buying a house as they cannot resell it to another player any longer.

There are no dead servers. These days even the smallest servers have a decent sized population.

Odin here, definitely not dead, and still a few on Mist, some in Lavender and a lot in Goblet (all small mind you).
Shirogane meanwhile is all sold. Not quite getting the hype with that area, it's not even that well designed but eh, guess it's because it's new.

Greg reporting in. Gilgamesh is most certain not dead. We have tons of plots left. All the servers i have friends or alts on there is plenty of housing. Those lacking housing are still much more populated than other servers. The servers with housing are far from dead.
