Would I have to change my name?

I know this has been said already to a point.
In FFXI during merges the people being merged from a dead world to a live world would have to change their names if said name was already taken on said server.
However! if said name was taken by an inactive character who was no longer being paid for, the merger character got to keep his name, and when the inactive character was reactivated,the former inactive would have to change their name.

This sounds like something I wanted to hear! When looking over the other Kanade Tachibana none of them were above level 10 so i doubt any of them are active. Hopefully they do it same way here.
