After 4.25 maintenance I stood up all night to try to get a house, only to find this stupid restriction, you know what it\\'s fine, FC have priority sounds fair...in the mean team I took notes of each house I want just incase my first pick in shirogane was taken.

5 days later and still no new news about when they\\'ll give a dam about individual housing, my dream plot was gone..,then looked around most of the wards and figured out a large majority of my potential plots were taken! I have a few houses left in shirogane left before the ward is full

I\\'ve waited months for a chance to get a house only to be sniped by Low end FCs and transfers

Wouldn't even bother looking until right before that maintenance begins, and then you can gamble to see if personal housing opens up when the servers go live.

Either way, just keep checking the Lodestone. You'll drive yourself nuts by monitoring the situation in-game day in and day out.

I mean if they had given the FCs a 24 hour head start, that would have been fair, anything more than that is annoying I agree.

Same here. I'm getting anxious.

My husband wanted a medium at first but the longer this goes the less he wanted to aim for them and opted to try for a small instead. Great FC had their chance to get a decent spot/home, but all I've really seen are personals relocating/upgrading their homes. So its just making everyone else really anxious. So gonna cross my fingers it gets unlocked on Tuesday

We're on 4.2. 4.21 will hit on Wednesday. And the restriction was advertised quite a bit before the patch, so I'm not sure why anyone would think they would be able to get a personal house soon after 4.2 went live.

Good luck getting a "dream plot". My goal for buying my first house was getting a house. While I have always preferred certain plots over others, my first goal was always just to get a house. I figured dream plots would have to wait. If you can get your dream plot, great. If not, buy something so you can easily relocate when they add more housing or when some "dream plot" of yours gets demo'd.

If you kept up with the news about it you wouldn't have had this nasty surprise. The restriction was announced long before the patch hit.

It's fine to have dream plots but don't bank on just one plot. Housing is extremely limited as you know. Most of the time when players get a plot it's not their dream plot, they're settling for whatever they could get. Those who get their dream plots are an exceptionally lucky tiny minority.

Keep up with the news about housing, check what plots are left and make a list of plan A, B and C locations. If you do that you have already increased your chances of getting a house.
