I think opening housing + the servers at the same time was a baaaad idea

Take care of it later in the week or the next week. By then if they opened the servers the week before, it may have cooled down a smidge.

Got one of the houses I wanted--- a small beach house in The Mist! Had to run to the subdivision after the originals were taken before I logged in, but I managed to snag it by clicking faster than the other person ahead of me. Felt a bit guilty, but I'll dry my tears on the beach.

Surprisingly, by the time I logged off, there were still plenty of other houses in the sub-division unclaimed.

Well, somehow managed to get a house, logging out infront of one did help...

Now if only Square managed to figure out adding your own characters as tenats.

I got a house too, though at first not the one I wanted... turned out my friends bought 2 out of the 3 I wanted to hunt in another ward so I immediately relocated to the third one

Servers go up, login within a minute, and the servers are already full.

This is why the housing system is stupid.

All the houses are gonna be gone by the time people get to log in.

Hour later and Cactaur still has houses, surprisingly. Looks like a lot of the demand has been sated. Granted, what's left is all small and nothing in Shirogane of course, but it didn't sell out as fast as I expected.

Being booted and losing your chance at a prime spot is really unfortunate though.

As a note, it'll show houses as available but they won't let people buy due to some hidden random timer for demolishes and relocations. I get why it exists for demolishing, but for Relocation it's just weird.

I had that error before, it can be seconds to a few minutes or maybe more before you can purchase the land, i had someone arrive after me at Plot 30 shirogane and they bought it as i was trying to relocate my estate to it and still getting that error about not ready...
