Outdated Video Guides

Don't get me wrong I appreciate everything that is online for us new players to view or read, yet at the same time it's a little disheartening to see players using Cross Class Skills in the guides when they are NO longer available. When I first started playing the trial I wasted so much time trying to find out when I would be able to get cross class skills, only to find out it had been removed. It would be nice to see newer updated guides, but I can't do it myself , because I don't know how. I'm doing good just to be able to play the game and even then there are some things I'm having problems with.

Sometimes it helps to just learn by doing instead of becoming too dependent on videos, as the community provides guides in various points of view, often for free on websites that cost money to run and update with new info, info that requires time to maintain. Some of the guides are just done on spare time by generous people who like to share their knowledge.

The top Twitch streamers tend to do more up to date guides but also consider that those guides take time to create and revise.

For games that are constantly updated and changed, naturally you're going to need to confirm your chosen resources are accurate for current version.

I don't think the content creators on Youtube etc wanna revisit guides they made 4+ years ago. Just read up and compare the information if these guides still applies current patch/expansion

A player that's contentious enough to actually seek out a guide is probably going to have the ability to see if something is out of date.
