Help with XP

Hi all,

Basically i was leveling alt class yesterday and was getting 306% XP if i remember correctly, which i assumed was Road to 60,Under max lvl bonus, Food and rested. But today since I've been leveling, whatever i do i just get a straight 100% even with food which i don't understand..... Am i doing something wrong? any help appreciated

Most of the XP bonuses available only apply to monsters killed and items crafted/gathered.
Quest rewards, roulette bonuses, etc. do not get bonuses applied.

Exceptions:
Road to 60 buff applies to just about everything.
If you are a battle class other than your highest level you get a 100% bonus for FATEs (50% after level 60 IIRC)

Road to 60 doubles your EXP gain on everything including doubled rested EXP, doubledd food EXP buff etc.
So you will get different boni for different situations like:
Quests: +100%
Rested EXP: +100%
Food: 6%
Armoury <60/>60: +200%/+100%

Without Road to 60 you won't get a bonus on quests and the rest is just half as high.

You receive only 100% Road bonus for quests.

Adding to the other responses above mine, I recommend doing Palace of the Dead (in Quarrymill) if you aren't already since you just go through killing mobs with all of the stacked bonuses you basically blaze levels. I like to do this for the alt classes because you can level all the way to 50 or 60 without worrying about gear and then do all of the class quests and enjoy the entire story in one go.

I have a different question about EXP, specifically the rested bonus. Is there an upper limit to how much you can accrue? I made a couple of alts a while ago (to try the different early-game quests) and right now they're just sitting around unused while I complete the game with my main character. So they should have a few months' worth of rested bonus, but is it infinite or do I need to be using some of it up?

There is an upper limit. It is about 1.5 levels worth of bonus XP. (Not total XP you gain, but just the part which is bonus from rested XP.)

Well, I went and played with my alt for a bit. Started the lancer questline from Lv1 and between Road To 60, rested and armoury bonuses (catching up to Lv31 marauder) I was getting something like 500% EXP at Lv15. Went into levelling roulette as soon as I got to Lv16, came out at Lv22 and *still* had a small amount of rested EXP on the bar.
