I thought I had copied, pasted and saved it, but I can't find the file. Any happen to save the story the Minstrel tells just before giving the Goobbue mount?

I have been interested in this as well. I read it the first time, but I didn't particularly delve deeply into what he was saying. Actually... I can't even really remember what he was saying past the poem he recited and the fact that he'd been helped before by adventurers. He mentioned something about a dream that didn't really lead me to the thought of him sharing the secrets of taming Goobbues.
I wonder if we can try speaking with him again...
Edit: Thanks for the link.
Well... "Common" sense isn't all that common anymore, now is it?
i wound up seeing watching a vid on youtube, a bunch of people filmed them selves doing the "quest"
I saved the file, but someone beat me to itI am really interested in this as well, SE snuck up a pretty nice Lore in this NPC!
Well I recall the Minstrel talking about a couple of as of yet unknown areas. Gardens of X(something) and the Floating Lakes of V Vvvvvv...yeah, they come up with werid names lol
The minstrel also spoke of having a dream after fasting/praying for 12 days and 12 nights. He saw a single horned beast leading a bunch of chocobos out of a burning forest. That was his inspiration to give us the horn.
As for the horn itself, it was a secret military tool used by a faraway kingdom, where they tame and use the goobbues. After playing for the king/sultan of that land, he was granted a single request and his request was to learn the secrets of that ability. Reluctantly, the sultan did give in, as to maintain his honest integrity before his own court.
Beyond that, I dont recall anything significant.
I am curious about the one-horned beast. Ixon, here we gooo.
