Dear SE, Please no more side/buttcapes

How is High House Bustle a top, for example? I'd love to be able to pair the actual top with something else.

I agree about wanting to pair the top with other things (and the male equivalent piece is just the coat) though on the other hand, having the entire dress as one item means I can equip pants under it.

One of my issues with a lot of the long skirt pieces is that you have bare legs under it, and there are plenty of times where you can see up them. (Getting thrown in the air or lying KOed or whatever.) The "Eikon Cloth Culottes of Healing / Brais of Casting" are the only long skirts I've found so far that actually have tights underneath.

Can we get rid of pauldrons too? At the very least, get rid of the big ones.

There are so many paladin armour sets that look awful on my character because of huge pauldrons. It makes it look really awkward and bulky.

Personally i like the trend, though i can understand the frustration many could have over this. Particularly those that chose the race options with tails. However even so, i desperately want some variants of the Althyk's Cuisses of Striking for all jobs.

While it does continue aspects many in this thread dislike, i feel it strikes a happy compromise in that it is a option that is attached to the leg slot rather than the body. My only complaint is that it is not completely dyeable (the upper thigh area remains a light blue under the open skirt) and looks like shorts with out the use of longer footwear.

On this point i can't help but agree. Why a simple texture map under the skirt area can't be put in place so i don't flash everyone while jumping/ kicking is beyond me, which is shame since i do enjoy the robed armor look.

This is why I used the lightning skirt for so long, there's shorts underneath.

Personally I love buttcapes and robes and that whole aesthetic. Even so, more variety is always good so I'm all for more non-buttcape armor pieces.
