    Can't change levequest difficulty (possibly due to NPC being under attack?)

    I accidentally set the difficulty too high but decided to try it. After getting duo'd by mobs, I died and returned, tried to lower difficulty, but apparently was in combat.

    Greetings, Mychael!

    Thank you for posting your concerns about being unable to change the difficulty of a levequest. In order to make sure that the development team has sufficient information to attempt to replicate what you have experienced, it would be a great help if you could please provide the name of the levequest that this matter involved. Also, the details in the following form would prove to be advantageous to the investigation:

    You use the aetherite node, not the NPC.

    It's a GC leve, so you use the NPC... Note the screenshot. It tells me "Levequest difficulty cannot be changed while you are engaged in combat."

    Oh, I haven't done a GC leve in a long time so I guess I forgot.
    Well anyways, it's a bug that happens from time to time that mobs don't de-aggro. You have to go back to them and get aggro again to fix it (or at least that's how it works for me).

    I tried, but the NPC I was protecting died before I could run back. :,( So I thought I'd report it, and maybe they can fix the bugs. ^^;

    Greetings Mychael!

    Thank you for filling out the template as requested. I have made sure to submit your information to the development team, and they will make sure to thoroughly investigate this matter, based on your report. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that a direct response will be posted on this thread, but I do recommend consulting http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com/ or http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...40-Patch-Notes for any details about the development team's investigation. Thanks again for your report!
