We already have the job, it's called paladin. It's probably the only single job you could stack with 8 of them and do most content in the game. It's just most people don't play paladinss. You generally find a lot of reddit posts where 8 tanks do current content.

Yeah we recently ran ran Rabanestre with 24 tank alliance.It actually went better than most normal runs of it ironically.No wipe on hashmal etc.

I think without pld heals we wouldnt have been able to clear it so easy though.
