I understand from a liability standpoint that you can't release information about personal housing prematurely, and that's fine. However, letting people know you hear them, even without updates on a topic, is better than silence, in my experience.

I tend to agree, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Public relations is hard. Some companies, like SE, seem to avoid it...even when they're aware of the dumpster fire on their doorstep.

They probably are aware of it but I don't think they should put resourses to make a such trivial adjustment. Rather them just communicate and lift it and send a "hotfix" patch to change a spelling error lol.

It was really more the principle of the matter, considering they have in fact already had a maintenance during which time they could have.

They have communicated though, so that's nice.
