    Trying to back fill Leves

So, I recently decided to back fill my completion of the battlecraft leves. Unfortunately, I do not have a single job below lv50. This means that low level leve which require me to wound and soothe a mob nigh impossible due to 1 shotting.

I will try later to equip a lv1 weapon and go naked. Hopefully not doing too much damage.
Are there any other ways to do such a small amount of damage on a high level job?

    Autoattacks only, low level gear.
It's really the only way unless it overlaps a fate so you can level sync.

As Cana mentioned, hold off on your weaponskills/powerful attacks, and put yourself in autoattack only. Also, do not use attacks that have DoTs (especially true if you're a mage, spells like Aero might not do a lot of damage, but you may weaken it enough to finally succeed, only to fail the leve when the Aero debuff drops the enemy's HP to zero. As you're a GLA/PLD, this means no Circle of Scorn, which if you're doing a low level leve as a level 50, would probably just kill the enemy in one hit anyway, but it's the DoT debuff it afflicts that really causes problems for this kind of levequest).

Finally, when the enemy is down to around 10% HP left, disengage from them (but still have them targeted) by sheathing your weapon. Then use the item for the leve to subdue them that is part of the objective. You should be able to subdue the enemy when it's down to about 10% HP.

Also, if you have your chocobo out, make sure he's either set in healer mode (assuming you have leveled that role), or order him to 'stay' (and thus not attack), as often it's your chocobo landing the fatal blow on the enemy just as you go to use the item to subdue it.

Just a quick update. All Leves below lv20 are now complete.

Here is the method used to lower health to soothe point without killing.
Lv1 - lv1 weapon, naked, auto attacks only
Lv5 - lv1 weapon, naked, 1 skill attack, then auto attacks
Lv10+ - lv1 weapon, full gear, 1-2 skill attacks, then auto attacks
