Stop locking paintings

Please make it like ARR sightseeing log where you can unlock paintings as you find the vistas and record them.

NOT EVERYONE CAN DO JUMPING PUZZLES.

Because of those 3 jumping puzzles locking my sightseeing log completion, I can't buy ANY Stormblood pictures.

It's bad enough that new one is so obnoxiously placed in the middle of the Aertheryte plaza.

I've put in well over 20 hours trying to get the big one done and can't do it. And then I'd have to jump off and HOPE I land on the other one? That's ridiculous.

Give it more time. I think it took me 30 hours the first time I did the tower. Then probably the same for the lamp post. I got so good at the tower I could get up it in less than 10 minutes.

Even in ARR that was only a thing for the first 20 (?) - for the second batch you had to unlock all vistas aswell.

The paintings can be sold/bought on the marketboard aswell - or be bought by a friend/someone who has it unlocked. Its a nice way to have some income for those people who can do jump puzzles but dont care about crafting. I didnt bother with the sightseeing log since ARR, so I had a friend buy me the new stuff.
Case and point: paintings can be traded, you can get them even without unlocking them.

Do i need to go back and look at the SB sightseeing log again? Ive done peg tower, and ive purposefully avoided leap of faith so far. Whats the third jumping puzzle? Or is he referring to the overly simple one in rhalgrs? And jumping puzzles arent even new to sightseeing. Some of the earliest ones involved jumping puzzles, just shorter ones then they are now. I remember having a bit of trouble getting on top of a certain light post near a certain waterfall.

Yeah I wish they didn't have these platforming features in the sightseeing log. Those aren't the easiest things to do on a mouse and keyboard.

On one hand, I agree: unlocking the log entry should allow you to acccess the paintings.

On the other hand, the paintings are so hideous I don't feel like I'm missing anything. Why are they all sepia-toned? It's awful.

Me and my friend eventually got it by using the Eternity Ring.

I make my way up the tower, my friend rings to me, I jump down but miss, so I ring up to them, we do a roulette waiting for the rings cooldown to reset, then they jump, get it, I jump and miss, so I ring to them and boom, vista achieved.
