run dungeon on min I level sync, pharos sirius and haukke manor( hard) are probably harder than alte rote in savage
They could make Min i level sync runs drop tomes and work towards achievement system
I think that is problem solved?

This makes the dungeons just LONGER but not HARDER. I tried some dungeons synced to min iLvl and they just took forever, but were not harder at all.
SQE mentioned in a live letter that they had harder versions of dungeons, but they nerfed the mechanics so more casual players could also clear them (easier). Give us these harder versions! Give us extreme/savage 4-man content! This would be way more fun for raiders, who like doing mechanics and be challenged. Right now 4-man dungeons are not a challenge, but more a grind. You just run through and dps up to the endboss - especially if you are doing your daily roulettes. Most of the new "expert" dungeons have almost no mechanics, just a lot of HP on mobs and bosses (longer fights).
There are ways to make the content challenging, like minimum ilevel which has been suggested. The developers have to balance the risk versus reward on the content they design. They are very concerned about people doing the content they put out. They threw out a bone with Ultimate, but they're not going to be able to justify large amounts of time on content that they will only see a fraction of the playerbase utilize. This is why even the more hardcore content is getting easier. They want to get more people utilizing it.
Basically wants WoW's Mythic+ system, I made a thread weeks ago about this and received maybe 3 replies. Same idea. Progressively harder dungeons for better loot. FFXIV needs it. Lets get it!
