Additional Subscription Fees For Housing

ah don't worry, I'm just blowing off steam. I love how their customer complaints procedure is to post on these things though - seriously - and be harangued by other people. SE have dropped the ball on this one!

I think they enjoy watching players go at each other's necks and that's why they always say to redirect our concerns to the forums.

But look at this problem from the point of view of people like me, after a house for years, abide by all their (unenforced) terms and conditions, have additional retainers etc etc, subscriber for three years now - and I'm not ALLOWED to attempt to get a house? It's not a skill gate but a SE problem gate, if a squeeze on the money made them deal with it, they'd make people happy very quickly.

You also need to look at it from the view of players currently with housing. By enforcing an additional cost, they're punishing players who already have a home and worked within SE's system to obtain them. We didn't have to pay additional before, but now we have to for reasons beyond our control? That's not fair either.

I 100% believe that the fault lays in SE's hands and their desire to have a system that doesn't work with the player base count they have. They need to reevaluate. They have more players than they anticipated who desire housing. They cannot please everyone with the current structure. They need to not punish one side to please the other.
