No thanks. I'd rather not feed SE anymore of my money that never goes towards this game and helping it become better.
"Everyone has something they hold dear, something they never want to lose. That's why they pretend. That's why they hide the truth. And that's why they lie."

If houses were instanced there would be no need for a fee and the supply problem would be resolved. SE has plenty of money to support a decent housing system. It is their inability to admit they failed with the current implementation that is stopping anything from being fixed.
There would be a reason for a fee, it would cover the monthly cost of a instance server for everyone in there house. Just cause it's instanced doesn't mean there isn't extra load there is a reason there isn't apartements for everyone that wants one.If houses were instanced there would be no need for a fee and the supply problem would be resolved. Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.
Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!

The only reason for a fee is greed. Ive already paid for the base product which includes housing just as I pay a monthly fee that presumably contains a portion for housing as well. In fact if an instanced housing system were designed well, a high bar for SE I know, it would take less resources, be easier to manage and be more dynamic than the ward system they use today. So SE would really be saving money over the current implementation.
The fee is simply an incentive for them to implement it. While I don't know the financial situation for the company(s), the possibility to make additional revenue, especially from a user base that is more than willing to provide it -- is not something they will refuse to consider. If houses were instanced there would be no need for a fee and the supply problem would be resolved. My suggestion was to make the best out bad situation by providing optional alternative to those who want it. There is no need to remove the current housing system, no need to increase subscription fee for everyone.

It isn't a financial problem that is stopping SE from implementing a decent housing system. It is an attempt to save face and not having to admit they made a major mistake. 2.0 was supposed to be the recovery from the 1.0 fiasco. By admitting the current housing system is a failure they also admit they didn't really fix all of the 1.0 problems. The fee is simply an incentive for them to implement it. Do people honestly think SE is some starter company with no funds to budget? If they insist on keeping the current system, our Dev team needs to step up and ask for a larger budget, if that's the issue. We should not be advocating increased cost on our end since we would never know if it would be budgeted back to this game. The fee is simply an incentive for them to implement it. Instanced housing is a lot more cost efficient than what they have now. A F2P game with less traction and monthly income can prove that well enough. There's no reason for us to pay more for instanced or for their misplaced desire to keep the current situation.
A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

No. Absolutely not.
Look folks it's already pretty outrageous that a subscription MMO makes us rent extra retainers. Even F2P MMOs just flat out sell you the inventory upgrade, they don't charge you monthly for it.
Now you're willing to PAY them more because housing is BROKEN? When they haven't even proven that they can do housing right? Unacceptable. We need to keep the pressure on them to fix it, not enable them to continue on with what's obviously inadequate.

Paid housing is silly. We already pay enough in other fees.

No way in 7 hell's will i support this
