I'd Like To Wear The Hood To My White Mage Outfit

The level 50 White Mage robes are some of the most iconic robes in the game. It's been featured in Final Fantasy art and in multiple Square Enix products. I had a great feeling of accomplishment when I finished my job arc and obtained the full set.

But, there is one thing which has bothered me about the robes. The hood does not have a /visor option. Now, I know why this is. It's because the circlet and the robes are separate pieces.

But, I was wondering, with the new developments in how our gear displays in Stormblood, if the art team would be willing to take some time and add the /visor function to the White Mage robes so that they work in conjunction with the equipment in the head slot to allow us to pull up our hoods against the wind, rain, and snow? It would be much appreciated!

The problem with hooded robes in the past is they prevent head gear from being worn, even as glamour, same goes for the heavy plate armor. You really can't get away without having a helm later on in the game without severely gimping your ilvl/stats, this is why you don't see hooded/heavy plate gear past 50.

They could make it auto-hide headgear. No need to not use headgear when there is a toggle to hide it.

Being able to wear hoods with specific head gear would be awesome. That would honestly open up a lot of room for gear set designs. Like how you can visor certain helms. I feel it would be a major endeavor since they'd have to create and rig new models and animations for all their current hooded cloaks. Possible though, definitely possible. But there are other things they should focus on

Or make it a head piece that switches between two looks depending on the /visor status, for example, the level 50 WHM head piece is a crown if I remember correctly then if we used the /visor command it would turn into a hood, of course they must adjust the robe accordingly so that it will hide the hood when it becomes visible on the head to avoid duplicates!...

I'm sure it can be done with relative easy because there are already several gear pieces that behave like that, I've noticed mostly on skirts and stockings!...

Because everyone plays female characters? Don’t think anyone asked about what you want as a glam zexy, the OP was asking for themselves and their preference.

SE, gib /hood command. It can overwrite the headgear piece as long as it's toggled on for what I care. I'm sure some pieces would look nice by using it.
